Get paid hundreds for a job interview (no, really)
Time is money, right? A startup called NotchUp says that
principle is motivating 15,000 professionals a day to sign up
for its as-yet-unpublicized service that will let users
negotiate an appearance fee of sorts with would-be employers.
Debuting at Network World's DEMO 08, the founders say the
service will produce a better pool of candidates and faster
hires for employers by enticing those not actively in the job
market. They also say 10,000 software engineers "working mostly
for top companies" have already signed on.Read more...
