mcgraw2go.mobi - Tim McGraw going mobile.

Mobile World Congress - dotMobi. That cell phone in your hand can do some amazing things if you know how to use it. Business better get on track when new opportunities to distribute your message appear.

I listened too a comment yesterday on ESPN from a guest: "there are more people on the internet than watching TV", he went on, "the sooner your realize that..."

Connecting with fans is no different than clients. In both cases, it fuels the source. Now take a moment an ensure your "Branded" name (domain.mobi) is protected. You built a name an someone is going to Auction it off in Las Vegas - to highest bidder. In Europe, courts have sided with the company vs the name holder. But this is the Wild West.

Thanks again, Sencera Bright, CEO @ industrygrind.com

Distribution of content also entails portable devices, i.e. USB Flash Drive

As a duplicator we get many different request(s) and manufactures are always on the look out for new markets. Supporting their VAR Channel Market first of course.

Microboards, Minneapolis, MN takes a page out of the NEC Sales Manual. Pricing and Availability April 2008. Create the demand prior to shipment and pre-sell everything. With the explosive use of USBs which at times can envy James Bond. MB looks to catapult themselves ahead in this potential market. But what about security of the data?

Welcome in IronKey, what I like is the companies path of
first standardizing your portable media, then secure it. Many CIOs get a rude awakening when they see 5 different types of portable media carrying a companies{or some case personal} information, knowing full well (2) of those units have only the protection of someones pocket.

2008 is the year of mobility, atleast for us. Wireless Virtual World is upon us. Hopefully in the coming months some core issues of mobile work force or working from "any location" can make great strides in the work place. Old school sometimes has this brick and mortor it just cannot shake. The real problem is the people, who can and who cannot.

Flash drives have attacted themselves. We have gone from transfering data between units, too online access. Truthfully I prefer online access, my dream situation:

Lake Winnebago, Wis - Western shore line, late May. Wife hunting her bluegil or perch while I look for Walleye. Notebook, Wireless, SmartPhone just off shore from a bar/grill that is actually a "Hot Spot" for more than
fish. Camera on the Notebook, SmartPhone, heck Camera is in the boat just haven't figured how to relay the signals and go live.

Pay Me for My Time....

Every so often items cross my screen that get my attention:

NETWORK WORLD DAILY NEWS AM ALERT
01/30/08

Get paid hundreds for a job interview (no, really)
Time is money, right? A startup called NotchUp says that
principle is motivating 15,000 professionals a day to sign up
for its as-yet-unpublicized service that will let users
negotiate an appearance fee of sorts with would-be employers.
Debuting at Network World's DEMO 08, the founders say the
service will produce a better pool of candidates and faster
hires for employers by enticing those not actively in the job
market. They also say 10,000 software engineers "working mostly
for top companies" have already signed on.Read more...

No one says anything about taking a position. Getting paid for
my time, #1. If nothing else, I have something too sell you....

2008 - New music gear Zzounds.com

Apple is arriving. 2008 shows no signs of slowing down. The pace of advancement in actual useable tools is long over due.

This does not mean, if your bad, technology can fix it.

Pro Pack - just a better solution for your CD/DVD Project

PRO Pack
our most popular project
Addressing the growing
cost of shipping or
distributing your project.
Unlike the jewel case, there
is nothing to break. More
cost effect than a clam-shell,
less total weight shipping, but more important no need of an
additional "Mailing" carton.

250pcs $525.00

Full color cardboard sleeve gives great presents to the
contents your delivering. Those of you heading on the
road shortly for seminars/trade shows needing to save
space should bring this option up to your marketing
dept. Never see them carry anything.

Yes, we do support a wide array of packaging
solutions. But always comes down to cost and
where you can get the most for your dollar with
out creating additional costs, which is always
overlooked.

Are approach here is find solutions, not just
taking requests.

Perspective: Piracy in China is smart, hilarious, critics say - CNET News.c

CNET News.com's Michael Kanellos finds that software pirates are getting better at marketing and aiming for a classier clientele. We all understand the "implied" value Asian market holds, but all knew this when the Western States opened up and the "Wild West" was born. Why not look in our own yard? Disregarding the "Copy Rights" of others only devalues the laws of a country. We cannot expect others too follow if we fail too lead. This should also be considered when organizations (RIAA) over extend this right by "using" a legal system to gain advantage against its citizens.....

Why posting the HD-DVD key could land websites in big trouble

EFF attorney Fred Von Lohmann explains the legal arguments AACS would make regarding the posting of the key. Just shows how the DMCA can be, they probably have a case against Digg and any other site that published the code. But we knew this was coming... Lexis-Nexis is having a seminar to increase the legal pool.....
